The Kansas City Kite Club (KCKC) provides expert flyers and a wide range of kite displays and demonstrations for MCC-Longview Flights of Fancy. KCKC, one of the largest and most premier kite organizations in the country, provides kite entertainment throughout the Midwest.

The Kansas City Kite Club was established with the exclusive purpose of educating the public about the art, techniques, science, technology, history, and safe practices of kite flying and kite making in the community. The techniques and creativity of kite making are a major central purpose of the educational outreach programs conducted by KCKC.

The members of KCKC define themselves, quite humbly, as "a group of people with an absolute love of kites. Members come from all walks of life including teachers, business professionals, retirees, and homemakers."
